I took this app on as a personal challenge. Designing an events app in a field so different from my usual work was refreshing, and meeting the people behind it, each with a clear mission, made it a real pleasure to work on.
Process
The client needed one platform with two sides: the tools to create events, and an app that reaches the association’s members and shows them every event.
So we decided to build two separate products: a CMS and the app.
As always, the wireframes mattered a lot. I ran workshops with the client and the developers to understand their ideas and agree on the best solution.
Once we had worked out the UX and wireframes together, I designed a simple UI around the people who would use it.
I also designed one UI kit shared by the web CMS and the mobile app.
