Flit is a free RSS reader for iPhone that turns your feeds into a deck of cards. Swipe to keep, swipe to let go, and stop when you’re caught up. There’s no account, no ads and no algorithm.
100+ Users in the first two days
A reader you can empty
Most RSS readers show a timeline that keeps growing, and the unread count becomes something to ignore. Flit turns new articles into a small deck of cards. Swipe right to keep one for later, swipe left to let it go, tap to read.
When the deck is empty, you’re caught up. There’s no algorithm. You follow the sites you choose, plus YouTube channels, podcasts and newsletters.

A simple gesture that’s useful and a little addictive
Flit is built around one of the best-known gestures in apps, the swipe. Here it clears out the news you don’t care about and saves the rest for later.
That makes emptying the inbox much faster. Afterwards you can go back, without rushing, to what interests you or what you saved.

Built with the people who use it
I built Flit in public, and the community helped define many of its features. A lot of the small easter eggs and choices in the app came straight from them.
Users beta tested it, gave me feedback while it took shape, and some even chipped in with a donation.
